Annual Shopping Event

Prom is a time to experience positivity, reflection, and the end of that monumental phase in all of our lives: high school.  Students shouldn't have to focus on circumstances or judgement that may cause apprehension. LEX Project Prom is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization and initiative with a mission to redefine what falls under the “needs” category in recognizing defining moments in a student’s life. We aim to normalize what some may consider a “luxury”, to be a standard for each student to celebrate the matriculation of their grade school journey.

LEX Project Prom is not your typical “dress drive”. The intimate experience we provide our participants is like none other. It is a curated moment for high school senior students to feel like they're out shopping with their families for their perfect night. Our annual event consists of an afternoon for the students to “shop” through our profound, modern, and in-style inventory and select their perfect Prom attire at absolutely no cost to their families. Students select jewelry and shoes to complement their new and/or dry-cleaned gently used dresses or tuxedos. Each student is awarded the opportunity to book an appointment with a professional and licensed makeup artist, nail technician, and cosmetologist or barber – all free of charge.

The only qualification for our program is financial need.
